- Authentication
- The inspected websites may require sign-in. This review does not establish a universal no-auth mode.
- Dependencies
- Codex CLI, current Node.js LTS with npm/npx, and a supported Google Chrome installation. This npx example assumes a macOS/Linux-style launcher; Windows requires the publisher-specific setup.
- Costs
- Client, website and external-service costs are not established by these setup instructions.
- Documented clients
- Codex CLI
Launches a temporary Chrome profile, not your already-open personal session. The flags opt out of MCP usage statistics and CrUX URL submission; they do not disable Chrome metrics or make browsing private/offline. Browser content is exposed to the connected agent. The first npx run may download code; @latest can change. Review before applying.
